Facebook apologizes for Lahore blast 'Safety Check' error

LAHORE/SAN FRANCISCO: Social media giant Facebook has apologised to users in many countries including India for wrongly sending texts asking if they were "affected" by the deadly Taliban bombing in Pakistan on Easter Sunday.

The targeted suicide attack on Christians in a crowded Lahore park killed more than 70 people, nearly half of them children.

Facebook's Safety Check system activates after a tragedy to help people let others know they are safe.

The social network blamed a "bug" for the warnings sent to people thousands of miles away from Pakistan.

Responsibility for the attack on Sunday has been claimed by a Taliban splinter group called Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, which said it targeted Christians celebrating Easter.

मोबाइल के डिब्बे में निकला बर्तन धोने का साबुन और स्क्रब! असम के करीमगंज से एक और सनसनी खाबर समने आई जब मोबाइल के डिब्बे से निकला साबुन और स्क्रब बर्तन धोने का तो दुकानदार और कस्टमर दोनों देखते रहे गए ! जब दुकान में ही मोबाइल के डिब्बे में बर्तन धोने का सबुन और स्क्रब निकला. दुकानदार ने पहले ग्राहक को डेमो मोबाइल दिखाया फिर जब ग्राहक ने डेमो में सब कुछ देख लिया मोबाइल के बारे में तो उसका मोबाइल लेने का मन्न बन गया फिर दुकानदार ने ग्राहक को मोबाइल का दाम बताया तो ग्राहक लेने के लिए राज़ी हो गया !  इसके बाद जब पैसे देने की बारी आई मोबाइल का सील तोडा तो मोबाइल के डिब्बे से साबुन और स्क्रब निकला. इस घटना पर ग्राहक और दुकानदार हैरान रह गए. जब ये घटना सामने आयी तो दुकानदार ने नाम ना लेने के लिए कहा और बोलै की हम तो मोबाइल तो डीलरों से लेते है ! हम तो सील तोड़ कर तो नहीं देख सकते अंदर क्या है हम को क्या पता की इसके अंदर क्या है वैसे दरअसल बात ये है की ये कोई पहली घटना नहीं है जो असम के करीमगंज से सामने आई है ऐसी बहुत घटना हुई है लेकिन उनको आपसी तोर पर सुलझा लिया गया ह...
